I think it's great way to spend a couple of hours learning about British Columbia's nautical history in the Maritime Museum! The museum is not very big but you will know a lot of different stories about Vancouver and its history. Definitely worth coming back!

Great museum, love to learn about local history. The sled dogs are cool additions and it looks like they're adding new displays soon too!

Wow! This is actually a really good museum! So many great artifacts, lots to read also! We learned a bunch and will love to come back when the cabins of St. Roch reopens.

This museum provides a fascinating history to the people's and the discovery of Vancouver and Canada from a maritime perspectice. One special feature is that it houses the complete RCMP St. Roch vessel which was the first schooner to circumnavigate North America and second ship to go through the important Northwest Passage (it can be boarded and explored). The guided tours are especially informative. It is easy to spend half a day here. Onsite small pay parking lot.
