Compassion, friendly, welcoming. The Village has really made a difference in my life. Depending on my state of mind, getting acupuncture can really be a challenge. Practitioner Karolina makes the sometimes challenge of acupuncture much easier- she's very personable, knowledgeable and inclusive of whatever state of mind your and offers gentleness and humor in helping what ails you. And when I leave I certainly feel fresher and more balance. I'm so deeply grateful for this place of healing.

The Village is a little oasis of healing calm. If you're new to acupuncture or even a seasoned veteran, this is the place for you. Karolina Kluska has helped me with insomnia, stress and depression--and I always leaving feeling relaxed and better able to tackle life's difficulties. Karolina is incredibly gentle, attentive and will always help you with those \spicier\ acupuncture points. Well worth a repeat visit at any price.

Please note this review is mostly based on an experience post treatment... I had my second treatment on a Monday evening, rebooked for Wednesday evening. First thing Wednesday morning I had to cancel and struggled get anyone by phone so sent an email. I did not receive any response until 3pm stating that they confirm the appointment has been cancelled... 5 minutes later I was charged for cancellation. I have since inquired and was flat out lied to... they stated they tried to fill the appointment but it's not down to them due to the late cancelation so that's why I was charged. I was charged at 3pm... my appointment was at 6pm, there was no attempt to fill the slot, or maybe they had done and still charged me? Extremely disappointing and I will not return. As for the treatment... i hadn't noticed a major changes but was keen to give it a few more attempts to see if anything would start to ease up - but that is no longer the case.

I have visited a community massage therapy clinic, but this was my first time visiting an acupuncturist at a community clinic. I was quite apprehensive initially along with heightened emotions, but Karolina completely calmed me down and listened to me. She really understands her patients and always has an uplifting demeanor. I am very thankful to have sought treatment because it is helping slowly with sciatica, back and neck pain. Thanks Karolina for providing adequate care and attention. :)

Lisa Matsuzaki! Is a wizard! But seriously, she is. I went in a few week ago as I've been getting pretty bad hot flashes. Over 10 a day and overnight sweats. After the SECOND treatment, they had gone, almost completely. Now after about 6 treatments, I haven't had one. NOT ONE. I'm one of those people that tries things, and they only ever seem to work for other people. This is incredible. I'm not saying you'll have the same results, but at least try. Please try it! THANK YOU Lisa!!!
