Tasty chicken meat ball skewer . Traditional Japanese ponzi sauce was being creatively applied into their fusion cuisine.Something other than food that I was really interested in will be their eye-catching decoration:the restaurant was designed into a futuristic abstract artistic style, high ceiling, piles of painting, bar stools and “looks like 100m long,2m high” rectangular wooden table…Well, just match up my preference. Have to say their desserts were surprised me with that delicious red bean paste.

Good atmosphere and food. I wish it had more seating for larger groups instead of the long table in the middle. Overall, all the food came out perfectly cooked and was quite tasty.
If you're down for yakitori, this is the place to get it in Vancouver. Laid back atmosphere that puts all the emphasis on the food (don't worry, the service is still good) You also get some other tapas to round out the yakitori menu, so order a little from both and add some beer... instant good times. The staff are really helpful with guiding your ordering if you're unsure. They've made a repeat customer out of me, I don't do yakitori anywhere else now. PS get some people, some beer and the alligator dentist game
Pretty enjoyable dining experience at this price. Good food and atmosphere. Will definitely come back for more.
I was surprised that the restaurant is one long table, but it works, the staff are super friendly and the food was great. I recommend the lobster and Burrata Ball, yum! And they have great lighting. We'll be back.
After reading the reviews I decide to give this a try, I regret this decision. This must be one of the worst skewers place I have ever been to. I ordered squid, angus beef, beef tongue, chicken thighs, chicken heart. Only two things ate able are chicken thighs and beef tongue.
When I arrived at the restaurant for lunch, I realized that we could reserve a table online or offline. Fortunately we could get a table and seats right away. The customer service was okay. No introduction for us as new customers. First question a server asked us when we stepped into the restaurant was, "did you reserve a table?" Not much of greeting or introducing their food or menus. We read the menus by ourselves. It was great that they had lunch sets. Both of us ordered the same lunch set - Shio. You could read their menu on their website or see the picture that I or other people took here. We waited for a long time for the food. There was only one chef in an open kitchen. Finally the food had arrived. Each skewer was thin. Five skewers in total. Four skewers had meat and one was a small slice of king oyster mushroom. I am not a big person but the portion seems small to me. If a normal person or guys eat this lunch set, I am sure it is not good enough. For such a smaller portion, it was quite pricy. I probably wouldn't go back unless there is a special occasion. This restaurant or food is good for people to meet up. Eating a little bit of meat or snacks, having some drinks and chilling with friends are a good place to go for; however, it is not a good place for dinner (i.e. real food).
Q shi Q is located out of nowhere but it’s not too far from Yaletown areas if you drive. Both service and ambience were great and food was good too. My favourite was chicken karaage. It was very tender and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Carbonara udon was a bit disappointing. It didn't have that rich, creamy taste I was expecting. Not so sure if I would come back for their skewers but definitely a good place for drinking beer and munching on some Japanese food after work.
