I was a client of Shelly's while she was interning at the CMHA. I can't thank her enough for the role she has played in helping me through my grief process after a traumatic loss and giving me tools to deal with my severe anxiety and depression. Every day is still a work in progress, but I am glad I recieved the help that I needed from Shelly at the time that I needed it the most. I do feel that I am in a very different place right now than I would be if I had not met her. She is deeply compassionate, non-judgemental, and an excellent listener. But she also gently challenges you to confront your own thought process. She help you identify and walks you through those invasive thoughts so that you can see and feel the light at the end of the dark tunnel. I am very grateful for her guidance and I would highly recommend her.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience to be honest. Shelley is a very observant and attentive listener. I feel like she is always trying to understand how I’m feeling and give me advice, knowledge and actions I can put to use right away to help me with any problems I share with her.
