The staff are superb. They helped me the size of the jacket from the other branch and delivered. The interior is great vantage style. The quality is excellent and the price is reasonable. Definitely this is the best option for the outdoor outfits and gears.

NOT a Rock solid guarantee!!! I have two jackets that have disintegrated, and not after overuse. I wanted to return them not entirely but to possibly get a % off so I could buy a MORE DURABLE jacket. These clothes are basically disposable, don't bother. The customer service person actually said \oh you bought the less expensive option\ like it was an expected outcome. They didn't do anything, no refund or acknowledgement at all that this was poor quality material. I won't buy anything here again. I was a long time customer.

One staff in particular (Parisa) took the time to listen to my needs and gave me specific advice on my new climbing gears. she went out of her way to find me a good deal in store as well, so I saved quite a bit! First time going in since they changed location but still satisfied with the staff's knowledge, patience and services :)

First time I've visited the new store. It's very nice inside and while the unit looks smaller, or because it's over two floors it is easy to find everything. Well laid out. Good selection. Helpful staff. Expect to queue to look at footwear atm (covid times) They even have a ticket machine. So pretty organised. Near main street so good bus link.

THEY ARE FINALLY OPEN! Been sooo long to make a trip here cuz of Covid. I LOOOVE MEC. They have hand sanitizers everywhere. There are protocols if you want to try on shoes (sanitize hand before touching shoes, must have socks or staff will give you one). Very spacious than the old place since it has 2 floors. They have restrooms and fitting rooms but i do believe they are both closed cz of covid. Love the decor and loads of light. You will see lots of mannequins and some on the wall to promote climbing. They have online pickup at the back or parking lot. They have parking behind too but you have to be careful what time you come back. the building management closes it after mec store hours. For new comers, you will need a membership to purchase. it's easy. They have: hiking, camping, kayak, water sport accessories, dog/animal lifevests!!!!, water bottles, accessories, climbing and accessories, biking and accessories and repair station, camping and accessories, loads of bags on the 2nd floor, different kinds of pants and tops (depends on the season, snow stuff would be later on), loads more. Not enough stuff in stock cz everyone is buying here duh! -2 Problems: - parking times you will get locked out bec it's not a parking lot for dinner times. THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT closes it AFTER MEC STORE HOURS. MEC ONLY RENTS THE BUILDING SPACE AND DOES NOT OWN THE BUILDING AND IS NOT ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE PARKING SPACE, THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT IS. so don't blame MEC bec you used the parking lot for parking and going to a different place. - closed restrooms (for sure) - lineups outside (unavoidable) - short of staff which is not safe if everyone is gona touch eeeevery thing and needs assistance. I suggest you go on an off tim, not with the crowd, before 2pm or lunch time, never on weekends. Advisable to not spend too much time yet in the store bec of covid.
