The buildings are very old and poorly maintained. Rodent activities in most of the units. Management is very difficult to deal with. The only positive thing is that the units are affordable.

I helped with a painting job at this well organized housing co-op. Clean , comfortable and safe.
I live in Killarney Gardens right now and I have got to say that I absolutely despise it here. It's awful. The people are mean, snobby and gossip a ton. Plus the board often plays favorites with people and the upkeep of the co-op is horrible. Many maintenance people that come here say that this place is really gross, old and not well taken care of. Many units I have heard have rodent, bug or mold problems, and often have water problems too (we get leaks often that are never fixed properly). The only thing going for this place is the affordability, the closeness to buses and metro-town, schools and a shopping mall across the street. Honestly, this place was built in the early 1960s and you can tell.
