This is a business that does not care about its customers. I was in Vancouver for a day and I needed to get a ring appraised. I went to the store (no one was responding at its phone number). Although the listed hours are 10am to 5pm on Saturdays, at 10:30am the store was closed with a \I will be back 11:00\ sticky note stuck to the door. At 11:00am, no one opened the door and the store remained empty. At 11:30am, the situation remained unchanged, so I left, having waited for exactly one hour. (I should also add that another couple had waited with me for about 30 minutes.) The owners do not respect the time of their customers.
Their craftmanship is matched only by their service and warm welcome. I try to have my jewellery cleaned and checked by them not only because they were designed and made by Jiliaev but because I sincerely enjoy the relationship that we have developed over the years.
After browsing the usual jewelry stores just over 10 years ago in search of a wedding band I was getting frustrated as everything was the same. By chance to popped into Jiliaev and met with Andrei. I was very impressed with his calm, no pressure approach and his creative nature. In our consultation he listened to my ideas, provided his professional opinion and created and delivered a fabulous totally unique wedding band! Recently, my wife and I decided to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary with rings and once again decided to meet with Andrei. Again, we were elated as he went above and beyond exceeding our expectations working tirelessly to deliver our custom bands on time for our anniversary! Andrei and his team are amazing! Andrei and his team at Jiliaev are amazing , a few years back Andrei designed a matching band to my engagement ring , life changes and this time I came with the wedding band , the engagement ring and a ring from my mother , I wanted all of it melted together and redesigned into a art deco style ring . Andrei takes the time to listen to the client , gets to know you , and everybody at Jiliaev is always welcoming doesn't matter what walk of life you come from. Andrei is from generations of european jewellers and he has amazing knowledge of architecture , the design process was amazing ,from the exquisite drawings , to the wax model , to the final ring . We repurposed all the stones from the 3 rings, Andrei polished some of the stones so they got a new life . the final result is a truly unique ring with all the art deco intriguate details , I wanted a ring that was comfortable and I could wear everyday Andrei delivered on that too ! Thank you to the team at Jiliaev this ring is stunning and will pass on to generations .
