I have been having a lot of health issues for the past few years that doctors at regular medical clinics never bothered to look into. I came here and the doctor showed so much empathy and looked into every concern and found what was causing them. I even feel like my doctor helps me mentally as well as physically because she is so calming and encouraging. I finally had my health issuing validated and helped - I am so grateful.

I had my first appointment with Dr Lawrence Chan in December 2016. I was looking for a solution to my ongoing back problem which I suffered with for over 2 years. During this time I had spent countless hours going to Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and Fitness Trainers but the problem persisted. Even Pilates did not improve my back. To avoid back spasms, I took 800 mg of Advil just to get through a round of golf, however this didn't always work as I often found myself back in the Chiropractor's office. I thought the problem was lack of muscle strength but Dr Chan diagnosed it as weak ligaments that no longer supported my lower back and hips. He recommended prolotherapy treatments to strengthen these ligaments. To date, I have had 8 sessions and there has been a remarkable improvement in my back. I no longer experience spasms or need to take Advil when I golf. My stability and balance is better than it has been in years. After years seeking help for my back, my back problem has finally been resolved. Thank you Dr Chan.

I've had the pleasure of seeing almost all the practitioners at this office over the years, and each one has helped me tremendously in many different ways. Most recently I've worked with Dr. Lawren Chan, who is absolutely brilliant in her work. Every interaction has been incredibly therapeutic from both physical and mental/emotional standpoints. Her expertise in acupuncture and adjustments always leaves my body feeling more healthy and aligned. She listens attentively without judgement, and creates a wonderful healing space where I always feel well supported. Her extensive knowledge about the human body and natural medicines has helped facilitate my health and wellness on many occasions.

I booked an appointment with this clinic for naturopathic treatment with Dr.Chan based from all the good reviews - I got an appointment two months later than when I called, but I was okay with it due to covid-19 and all the medical processes taking time. However, a week before my scheduled appointment, I received a call and was charged for 50 for a missed appointment! I still have the email, and a voice message on my phone stating the original time that I had booked in advance two months ago. My partner was shocked too since he was there when I called the office to book the appointment originally and remembers it being scheduled not at the time the office charged me for. The appointment they \claimed I booked\ was on a day I was scheduled to be away from Vancouver, so I would have never booked that time - their receptionist wrongly scheduled me for an appointment in their system and then charged me for their error. No where on their website does it state that you will be charged 50 for \missed appointments\ i.e. scheduling errors by Integrative's staff. Terrible service and a disorganized reception that resulted in hidden fees for an error on their part. Stay away and go with a naturopathic office that knows how to use a calendar.

Spent over 400 in two visits to find out that I had a sensitivity to peanuts, which I already knew. They’ll recommend that you start taking certain supplements that they conveniently offer in their in-house pharmacy at ridiculously high prices. 90 for a vitamin c spray and Livton (liver supplement). The Doctor employed the method of “muscle response testing”where various supplements were placed on my chest while laying horizontal with the aim of determining, based on my bodies response to being in close proximity to the specific supplement, what my body needed. I’m a pretty open-minded person but she was literally pulling my leg. In short it felt very hoaxy.
