After hearing a few stories about the front staff, I knew I wasn’t alone. I have had such a difficult time trying to get through to anyone. For almost two months I would call everyday to try to get my GP just to sign the paper for my prescription. I now know the office “assistance” were not assisting the Doctors in the office and certainly don’t care about the patients they are ignoring and leaving to suffer. I could go on and on with stories I heard and from personal experiences about how terrible the staff is working there. Dr. Borra is great and I wish I could leave a different star rating for her! 5 star! She really is great, she knows her stuff and is helping me a lot! Management, I know you’re aware of this. Why haven’t you found better staff? Many people are off work who would work harder and fulfill the duties of office assistant much much better than the ones you have working there now. Stop IGNORING that your patients are suffering due to your administrative assistant team. This is completely unacceptable at a medical establishment and management should have intervened way before myself or multiple others have had to inform you of this happening. I was just hung up on by the receptionist while I was trying to say how important and how much an emergency it is to speak to my doctor. The person working as Dr. Borra's receptionist hung up on me this morning. I was trying to say that it's an emergency and she just hung up the phone. I can't believe the lack of professionalism and lack of humanity in this office.
Front desk telephone service is abysmal...it was deteriorating before covid and is now a disaster. Totally under staffed. I'd like a management contact on their website to discuss, but of course it does not exist.
It says walk-in clinic online and on website. When you actually go, front door says 'no walk-ins'. If no new patients are being taken and no walk-ins are allowed then same should be updated online and on website. Waste of time and highly inconvenient.
I am so happy that Dr. Lui is my and my daughter's family doctor. He is very knowledgeable. He is also very kind and patient (especially when my three year old daughter is quite active during a doctor's appointment). Indeed a doctor with a vast medical knowledge and great people skills as well.
