I have mixed experiences after visiting Vancouver International Improv festival. The group with the puppets were lovely, and the guys from Montreal were pretty good, too. The 3 men group from the States were bad, boring and obnoxious. It seemed like they couldn't figure out how to work together. But oh man, the group from Philadelphia was the worst of all. They had no talent, their performance was painful, there were no reason why they were on the stage. Outstanding, professional and extremely entertaining performance was Kirsten Rasmussen's (and her male counterpart's). They were way better than everyone on the stage altogether. It seems that these performances are really hit or miss.

Great intimate setting for local theatre. Saw the musical \Once\ here and it was fantastic with an on-stage interactive bar

Their zero tolerance to having a child \whisper\ during performance and asked to leave along with my child was extremely disappointing.. . There were times during show when people made all kind of noises and sounds and that was acceptable!? I would never go there again! Sad to see that instead of encouraging families to attend their extremely strict \policy\ would definitely limit on who goes there. A waiste of my time and money, since there was no refund!
