Family really enjoyed these. Very handy to have in the freezer and so quick to heat up. Full of flavour and well priced.

Cool concept! Essentially it’s frozen ramen (good for about 7 weeks) that you can heat up and eat at home. Good alternative to takeout which uses up a lot of plastic packaging. The packages are pretty, ordering and pick up was easy (there’s loading zone parking right in front of their facility on Franklin St or you can pick up at other Zakkushi group restaurants). Tried the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen: I couldn’t find the cooking instructions so I just heated it up on the stove till boiling. Solid rich broth, tons of noodles, the meat portion is a bit light and the ginger did melt into the soup which changed its colour - whoops! Overall - delicious food!

Spicy tonkotsu broth is very flavorful. The two slices of chashu were tender and tasty - if only there were more The cabbage doesn't really go very well with the dish. Woodeared mushrooms or bamboo shoots would be better.

Great concept and delicious execution. Got a couple ramen for the holidays and enjoyed both. Yuzu was especially interesting and unique. In the future, I'll definitely order a couple and keep them in the freezer for a quick meal. The main problem will be not ending them immediately.

Their frozen ramen was delicious. Give it a shot! Priced fairly and it's like having the restaurant experience at home. It's a great idea.

Very tasty and a much better alternative to take-out ramen!

A quality bowl of ramen to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. After seeing the Franklin Food Lab on IG I picked up a bunch of their frozen ramen. It’s a great bowl of noodles, rich broth, noodles that have some texture to them and tasty proteins. Put it in a pot, cook on medium till heated through, super easy and well priced.
