The best obstetrician I can’t forget her and thankful
like
Very rude receptionist. I was really looking forward to meeting Dr. Oakes as I heard good things about her but the receptionist was a turn off... very unorganized with appointment dates and times. I do not want to stress over having to move my schedule around. Very challenging. She's also very awkward and impatient. When I told her times after noon works best, she responded with \Wellll we close for lunch until 1pm sooo....\ \Either this or that time\. She tried to move around my scheduled appointment so she could fit someone else in but can't work around my schedule at all. Ridiculous. Unbelievable... I don't know if she's been having bad days or what but I will book with another gynaecologist. I do not have time for people like that and would rather avoid it.
Hands down the BEST obstetrician. I had a complicated pregnancy and she was incredibly supportive, answered all our questions and took the time to make us comfortable. We were in the hospital for 10 days and When we went to Deliver she was away at a conference but came into St Paul’s when she was back more than 5 times on her own time at night and during the day to check in on us and make sure we were ok. We honestly can not say enough about her care. She’s a gift!!
So far Dr. Oakes has been very professional, approachable, informed, and helpful. There are no \stupid questions\ with her; I can ask her anything. I truly feel like my family and I are receiving the best care under her and her team. Yes she's busy, and therefore it's not easy to reschedule an appointment, but that's typical of most sought after professionals. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Oakes as my OB :)
My mother was referred to this horrible doctors office. They wrote urgent on her file, and the idiot receptionist didn't call my mom for over A MONTH! We called and called and called, no one was picking up. The receptionist didn't notice the urgent notation on her file. Then finally got an appointment for my mom it was another month away. Then for her second appointment, they canceled it and rescheduled it for 2 weeks after the initial appointment! Nothing but being screwed around by this doctor and receptionist. I would recommend to stay clear of this horrible place.
I shereen, love doctor Oakes. She is one of the most amazing doctor I dealt with in my life, I and my husband are very happy being patient of this amazing doctor :)
