After a long day’s work, Prince Poo drove his royal economy car down to this lovely Bavarian theme restaurant to meet up with a friend. Staff was welcoming and the place had a warm family friendly ambience. The food was good but felt the portions a little small for the price, especially the specialty bratwurst. For the experience though, it was a nice meal but I barely touched my sauerkraut Big fan of the beers available though... one I had was supposed to be a staple at Oktoberfest - Prost!
I simply enjoyed their dishes. I always get fantastic service here. The place is well kept and the employees are always very nice. Will come back again.

Love place inside, really authentic, as was the food which was delicious. To top it off the staff was lovely especially the nice German manager. Really cool story how the restaurant has been owned as sort of a co-operative between a committee and been open for nearly 100 years! Long may it continue! Recommend great spot!
The first time I tried the traditional cuisine “pork hock” was on Vancouver Christmas Market in few years ago. Don’t know if that is the traditional taste, but just love it.
From the first moment you arrive in that place the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very warm hosts, it is a friendly restaurant to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great cuisine, qualified chef, modest price and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
Great German food and meat platters! They had Hofbrauhaus beer but now have Stiegl Salzburger instead which is close!
