Went for a cooking class with colleagues. Had a great time. Your allowed to bring your own wine from home to drink while eating. Cooking classes are very dynamic and engaging. Chef was great at answering questions. Best part was the bread from scratch.

This is a great store. Jed and his staff are knowledgeable and engaged people. The art and tradition of cooking should not be lost in this era of food delivery apps. This store is great place to spark or reinvigorate your passion for cooking. It is also pretty darn good if you are an old hand. If you have questions about any of their products, Jed or Steve or anyone else will spend the time with you to sort things out. I recommend you support this local business today.

Great cooking store, took a Thai cooking class, and the instruction was great, the food was simple to make and delicious, and a very fun atmosphere!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered on the 22nd online as there is a guarantee on the website that the package would arrive on the 24th. As the day went on and my package didn’t arrive I desperately called. This is my sole Christmas present for my partner and meant a lot to me. The man who answered apologised and said he would send it to me via Uber. It was clear my order had not even been assembled, as afterwards I received a call that two of the items I ordered were not in stock. I only ordered a dark blue microplane because it was the one color in stock, had I known I’d have to wait anyways I would have just gotten black. I received no apology for this. And this isn’t even the worst part. The main gift was meant to be a 115 serrated tomato pairing knife, and instead I received a 95 pairing knife. Being now far too late and Christmas Eve I can’t even fix any of this and am left with only 3 out of 6 ordered gifts to give. I am just so heartbroken by this.I have just returned to Canada after 2 years away and wanted to do the perfect Christmas in the midst of the pandemic and this has been a huge disappointment. Apparently trying to support small family businesses is no better than just sticking to the big old Amazon. At least Amazon arrives on time and gets in touch when something is wrong. This has put a big taint on my favourite holiday and is the worst hospitality treatment I’ve ever received, and this is coming from someone who works in hospitality and is always understanding of the industry.
