This is a strange sort of “bank”: it has staff but no tellers, so they seem to be able to sell you things but not do actual banking. A handsome gentleman’s main job seems to be to tell people they need to go across town to a “branch with tellers.” It’s an odd business model, perhaps designed to give federal regulators the illusion that they aren’t cutting service.

Made an appointment online with Edward Chow and got a confirmation email so went to the branch on time, but there was no one there. I kept calling the number provided but no one even answered. They wasted my time and money as I took the bus. Can’t believe this is even allowed at a big corporation like CIBC. So unprofessional and unacceptable.

Likely the least helpful bank branch you'll ever find yourself in.
Not a real branch. They have no tellers, only ATMs.
