They have just moved, Dec 8/20 to a building within the property of St St Paul's Hospital. It is far better than the older building, however it still serves as a DTES Homeless Facility.

Great shelter, free meal tickets, showers, and other necessities. Overall a great place to be if you have no where else to go

It's a free warm place, with a warm bed, and pretty good shelter workers. Free food tickets, lounge room and small library.

Very clean dorms & great staff easy to deal with, helpful very respectful ppl... I had a good stay once I got a bed after getting on a list at 4pm for better odds of securing a bed if/when it becomes available... They do bed-checks at 10pm, hence your last chance to be given a bed to sleep in for the night... They wake you up at 6am & then offer meal tickets(9 worth) good for the Gathering Place (HELMCKEN @ SEYMOUR, in W.E.) & McDonalds(TINSELTOWN ONLY) everybody has to get out before 7:30!!! ; )

What can be said? Its as basic as basic shelter gets.. Its a roof over head and a warm dry place in dead of winter... No food at all to be had. Its shelter only. Forgt about the breakfast as once in a while a loaf of bread and some peanut butter are finished before they get put out. . EVERYONE IS PUSHED OUT BY 7:30AM SICK OR FIT. Some of the staff think they are too good for the homeless, even though the same people are not even in the same league intellectually

This place is like a mental institution for the mentally I'll homeless drug addicts, dont bother talking to anyone you'll get conflict or rude remarks. No food ,nothing but a bed with 20 other people who don't know what a shower or toothbrush is...
