Our 9-year-old has been taking lessons for the school year. Beatrice has the perfect balance between holding a high standard yet keeping piano fun and engaging for her students. Judging by the enthusiasm of her other students, we are not the only people who feel this way. I've been impressed with her demeanour and professionalism. Update: 3 years later and this review still stands. Our now 12-year-old is a music lover and Beatrice played a big part in enabling her to explore her own tastes.

Beatrice is a really great teacher. She keeps the lessons structured and always moving towards an established goal which helps to keep you on track. I really appreciate her depth of knowledge and her willingness to explore different approaches both with me and with my son, who is five. I didn't start studying piano until I was 38 years old but I'm really grateful to have Beatrice as a teacher.
Beatrice is a gifted piano teacher able to teach all levels and ages. As a beginner adult pianist, Beatrice has encouraged and guided me to a level of playing that I could never have anticipated. Her ability to choose music that fits the students musical tastes and advance her students progress in uncanny. Her lessons consist of a good balance of theory, technique and playing. It is a complete joy to work with her.
Beatrice has helped me for a great amount of time with piano. She strikes a great balance by not overwhelming you, but pushing you to improve. She helps you hold yourself to a high standard so you can continually improve and impress yourself. Her own piano capabilities are superlative and it shows in her teaching.
