This shop has the coolest yarn and (is one of the only places in the city you can get locally produced, hand-dyed materials). The staff is super knowledgeable too. Highly recommend their online knitting classes too!

Baaad Anna's has been a source of constant joy for me! I started knitting by taking one of their classes back in March and have been enjoying it since! By now I've finished multiple projects, in and out of class, and can't wait for upcoming classes I have in the queue :) They're always helpful and offer support in choosing the right yarn and tools for the project. They respond to emails quickly, ask the right questions, and make sure you're happy with your purchase. They also built a community of knitters! I met wonderful folks through both the knitting classes and the casual meetups they hang out in. It's so much more fun to knit with other people on the call. Knitting has been the best thing that happened to me during the pandemic and Baaad Anna's is a big part of it. I'm excited to finally visit the physical store at some point!
Great place to get needle felting wool for a great price, as well as supplies and kits. Also have a lot of yarn for knitting, and good staff. Support a local business!
Every time I go there I find staff are distracted. They want you to hurry up, shop, and get out. Even before covid times. I have been shopping there to support local business. I won't be shopping there any longer. I find it a tense experience, and I'm a Sagittarius. Lol. Bye bye
Great selection of locally dyed yarn and fibre plus affordable yarn, as well. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. One of my two favourite yarn stores in Vancouver.
