We stayed at this Gite in August. We had requested the room with a lake view, only to be given the room with a "garden view", i.e a dark basement room with a small window overlooking the parking lot, definitely not a "garden". When we queried this with the manager, he was immediately defensive, did not offer any apologies and said "his wife was in charge of bookings, not him" and he even mocked my boyfriend for trying to speak French, we felt bullied and uncomfortable. He did not offer any help no compensation. We would NOT recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1) although the Gite itself looks beautiful from the outside, guests stay in the bottom section, a half basement 2) Garden view means looking at the parking lot, with poor air circulation see picture 3) the lake is more of a swamp, I would not swim in it (and I'm an outdoorsy canadian girl) --- it's just not that inviting 4) the gite managers have poor customer service skills, were defensive, rude, and offered no help. i would not recommend this place to anyone.

Been there many times with my wife this summer.love the romantic room.going back in 1 month.verry nice hosts good breakfast Clean rooms .you can't go wrong going here.try it and have fun
Séjour de deux jours tres agreable. La nature est belle. Les propriétaires sympathiques et cherche à nous faire plaisir pour avoir un beau séjour. Bon déjeuner.
Excellent endroit pour relaxer. Propriétaires très gentils. Chambre un peu petite. Lieux pour profiter de la nature.
Merci a Philippe pour son accueil et la chambre romantique. Passage pour une nuit dans le coin nous avons été très bien accueilli. Endroit charmant et proche de la nature. Super petit dej et on a même fait du pédalo

Endroit très beau et impeccable! Philippe et Christelle sont très accueillant ça a été un réel plaisir de faire leur connaissance. Cadre idyllique et somptueux, l'endroit est très bien tenu! On peut le dire on est au domaine des merveilles!!!! Vincent
