BEWARE OF THE FINE PRINT in your contract. RUN. Dishonest business practices. Even their subcontractors admit it. They will charge you extra as their contract is an open book to charge more to their customers above the contract price and excuses them of any damages to your property. Trévi hires subcontractors who extort you for more money all arranged with Trévi. Upon the excavating contractors arriving to our property after months of delays, they unloaded all of their machinery onto our property only to ask for an extra 1500 to dig, which was supposed to be included in our contract which had been fully prepaid. Then they advise us to read the fine print and that the access to the yard had to be a certain number of feet wide, which it was, however they reserve the right to unilateraly and arbitrarily impose extra costs for digging with small machinery. They arrived with small machinery and the salesman never bothered advising us there could be extra costs for excavating if large machinery cannot access site. Then their second subcontractor backs up a large dump truck in our yard which supposedly could not accomodate large machinery. It's a scam. They will simply rely on the fine print which is unreasonable and offers absolutely no protection to the consumer. Damage to our driveway pavement by the dump truck driving on the edge is being dismissed as not their responsibility. Worse experience. They don't care about the client, just your money. Unable to resolve any issues in a reasonable manner - it will have to go to small claims court. See photos of our yard which supposedly cannot accomodate large machinery.

Amazing!! JP was the best. He helped us find the pool we wanted and he was even able to have it installed within 2 months of purchasing -whereas everywhere else we checked was only installing end of august. He gave us exactly what we were looking for and even threw in a few little extras. He was very kind and attentive. My 5yr old child was with us and he is full of energy, JP gave him some toys to keep him occupied while we completed the purchase - it made the whole experience even more pleasant. I totally recommend Trevi, ask for JP!!
Not only do they block driveways for extended periods of time - see picture - they hire contractors who urinate on other peoples properties! The house getting the pool installation is to the far right of the picture (barely visible) and their contractors have urinated in between the two homes that are fully visible. When contractors were confronted, they simply said “I had to go....”. When we called the company to complain, the administration claimed they don’t speak English and hung up. I’d rather dig a hole and fill it with water than to ever hire this company!
The representative (Samuel) was excellent. He answered all of our questions. He showed us all of the features of the Gazebo we were interested in and highlighted a number of positive and beneficial aspects of the product. He was instrumental in helping us make a quick decision to proceed with the purchase. I would highly recommend Trevi in Gatineau based on our experience.
Prompt service! I wanted to buy a above ground pool. I tried two places near my house, after many calls, messages, and emails never got an answer! I decided not to wait any longer and I saw an add for Trevi pools and I sent email with a quote, not even two hours later I got I call from a representative, Gabriel D. He took the time to FaceTime me to choose my pool, and sent me all the paper work, and told me that he will help me with the paper from his home office. Because it was already late. Great experience. Keep up the good work!
TRÉVI's CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GARBAGE!!!!! Long story short... After our visit, we realized that we needed to look into our situation a little deeper before investing 13 000. When I called our salesperson back to ask if we could have a small extension considering it's COVID and it's a little hard to have people just swing by our house. He kept cutting me off saying "no, no, it's tonight 8pm, it's only 500 deposit it's not the end of the world"... 48 hours later, the same exact pool is 2000 higher. As a normal person, I tried to ask him for a discount if we paid our pool without financing "cash" and he returned saying that he wasn't willing to commit tax fraud... JULIEN RENART from Trévi Gatineau basically told a client that they were going to commit tax fraud because they are asking for a discount on the 15 000 pool. Of course I replied saying that I was insulted & it was a lack of professionalism on his behalf and it was normal for anyone on this planet to ask for a discount. HE NEVER ANSWERED........... coward. Called the store manager, had a discussion with her, she asked to refer me to a new salesperson. I gave them a second chance and the kid was as bad as Julien... WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!!!!!!
This is why I never give a rating until the job is complete. We ordered a pool and hot tub at the same time from Trevi. Our sales person was great and friendly and knowledgeable. That's the extent of the good experience. They promised a delivery date for the hot tub and then canceled the delivery blaming covid, but continued to advertise delivery dates available when mine was due. We canceled the hot tub and got one from another company. The pool delivery date they gave us was not the actual set up date. No one told us that, they just dropped everything in the yard and more than a month later the came to set up, so we didn't get to use it at all before it was too cold. Now it's spring and we are ready to set up. They wont return our calls or give us information about how to set up the pumps. They wouldn't let me order the salt cell in the fall but told me to come back in the spring....here we are, no salt cells. I had to hire someone off of kijiji to help us install the pumps. We also have no idea how to install the safety fence and drilling into a new pool seems like something a professional should do. There were soooooo many things they didn't tell us in advance. Cost us about an extra 3500 to get everything done that needed to be done. Great looking pool, severely substandard support and service. Once they have your money, you're on your own.
At Trevi Gatineau I was treated extremely well. I was well informed of different types of pools and their costs thereby providing me with the information needed to make a good decision as to what type of pool was best suited for me and my family, and at the same time was able to keep to my budget. I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. I only hope that the installation will go as smoothly.
