Cute and comfortable hostel steps from the Skerwink trail. Kitchen is large and well equipped and sitting area is cozy. Plenty of shared bathrooms/showers.

We had a great time at the hostel. The room and lounge area is very modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was nice to socialise with the other guests. The breakfast was good and there is a lot of space for preparing your own food in the kitchen. The area around the hostel was perfect for hiking the Skerwink trail.
Stayed for two nights. Staff was excellent and the room was spotless. Homemade bread was amazing! Very close to the start of the Skerwink Trail and Port Rexton brewery. Highly recommended.
One of the best hostels I have been to. Super cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Hosts were great, everything was clean and spotless. The breakfast was also very good and much needed. Skerwink trail, a breathtaking 5.3 km trail is 100 meters down the road.
Very clean and great shared kitchen. Wifi was great and vry reasonable rates.
Had a great stay at Skerwink Hostel. Camped out back with a beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast was great, company was good and it was a bonus to be able to use the shared space in the hostel!
Amazing place, well decorated. Nice common areas to read before bed. I liked the Bluetooth speaker in the old speaker, nice touch. We had such a warm welcome by the tenant when we arrive. It was perfect. The breakfast were good. The homemade bread from a bread machine was a nice upgrade from what you usually get in an hostel. It is from walking distance from the skerwink trail and Port Rexton Brewery. Also really close from two whales, a must go if you go by! Best place we stayed in Newfound Land. Only downside was that we had only one night and had booked to Bonavista’s hostel after. Which was a really big downgrade, I wish we would have stayed.
If I could give 4.5/5 I would. Hostel was absolutely wonderful! Staff was kind and helpful, facilities were clean and nice. My only disappointment was that the beds were *very* squeaky (even squeaky for hostel standards). I would absolutely recommend this place!
