Had the Braised Chicken With Hand-Pulled Noodle (Boneless) Mild Spicy (Authentic). Pretty good. It was actually quite spicy for me. The pumpkin pancake was pretty good, too.

Nice location in Chinatown and close to AGO. Not hard to find the restaurant. Me and my friend saw the poster of YunShang rice noodle previously in the restaurant for the special meal for CAD 19.99 per meal, which offer only limit 50 portions per day with first come first serve. The meal looks delicious and fancy in the poster and we thought we would give it a try. Arrived in the restaurant around 11:30 on Sunday morning and luckily they still offered it. We ordered two the special offer of coconut curry broth. We waited less than ten minutes to get the meal. When the food came, everyone was impressed and it was just amazing and looked fantastic. We liked the way how they presented it. This came on the huge tray with all the ingredients like lobster, meat, bird eggs, crabs, mussels, shrimps, mushroom, rice noodle and so on as shows in the photo. It is just like a regular hot pot meal. You will need to put all the raw ingredients into the pot to cook and eat it when it’s cooked and ready. It was my Mexican friend’s first time to try hot pot and she loves it. The broth smelled good and was thick and matched with the food. If you never had hot pot before, this would be a good starting for you to try. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service. We would definitely go back and try it again. It was absolutely awesome and worthy. You can take your friends or family to the restaurant but make sure go there earlier and don’t miss out this special meal.

Loved the food. Both my friend and I ordered the fresh cut tilapia with sauerkraut. We also ordered the popcorn chicken to share as well. The noodle soup was super favourable and lots of tilapia inside. But do be careful, it's super super HOT. You can also grab unlimited refills of rice noodles but for me 1 bowl was enough. The popcorn chicken also tasted VERY good, nice and crispy. I would give 5 stars for food, but I gave 4 stars overall because the place had no AC. I was sweating like I ran a marathon and the extremely hot rice noodle was not helping either. Overall, I loved the food. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Pickled cabbage broth really wasn’t good. :( Was not spicy or pickled, and actually didn’t really have any flavour to it at all. Was not worth the 10. But highly recommend the spicy beef and sausage side dishes. # Edit in response to owner’s reply: I must’ve misread the spice level of the broth. Sorry! I do think the broth could still be improved however, it still lacked flavour as compared to other rice noodle restaurants I’ve been to, and does not taste distinctively like ‘pickled cabbage’. Thanks for addressing the points so promptly!

Worst Presotea ever. No taste at all. Just water and ice mixed together with some artificial flavors. Total waste of money.

My go to rice noodle place. When you're in person they have unlimited free noodle refills and you always leave super full. Soup is delicious, highly recommend the sour cabbage rice noodle and the shredded potato side dish !

Service was lovely, staff was friendly, happy and patient with our questions. We especially liked the curry coconut soup with seafood, seafood consisting out of couple of big shrimps in skin, mussels and tender crab sticks. Soup was light, tasteful and had some spicy to it. My partner found his soup so so; the classic one with beef. The side dishes coming with the soups are okay, the (endless supply of) rice noodles are tasty. The place is decent and cozy compared to other places in Chinatown. I doubt if you can eat vegan or vegetarian at this place, since the broth of the soup and side dishes contain meat and fish. If you’d like to eat vegan / vega, say it in advance. Gluten free could be possible; the side dishes are without dough, except one fish shaped ingredient made of tofu has (traces of) flour. The broth could have traces, I didn’t ask,and crab stick has often wheat processed in it as well. the staff seems to know a lot, don’t hesitate to ask I guess :) our bill was 28 in the end, two soups, no drinks or extras. Thanks for the pleasant service!
