My daughter and I had an amazing experience in this school. We unfortunately moved but I miss it very much. Ms Maricela and the other teachers make you feel like family. The staff always took the time to let me know what was going on with my LO , to give me updates on how she was doing whenever I asked. Because of our situation at the time they were very accommodating and eased my LO with the support she needed emotionally. I absolutely love this school.

While we really loved the diverse staff and clean environment, when it came to what is what is most important for our child we felt Ms. Marcella didn't display the age appropriate sensitivity, whole child positive outlook and level of patience and care to lead a school for this young age. Furthermore, the o news is good policy\ about communication about your child was one that did not fit with the type of communication expectation we had, especially for children in the 18-2 years group. While I hesitated about writing his review, given that enrolling and withdrawing your child in a program is a burden carried heavily on parents in the childcare environment where there is high-demand low-supply, I felt that parents had the right to know both the positive and negative experiences so that they can make an informed decision. We have shared our feedback in person and trust that the school will make necessary improvements for other students and their families towards a five star rating. While we based our decision on the positive reviews, my recommendation is to keep an open mind and let your own personal experience, honesty and courage to speak up about it be your guide. Even though I have been in the education field for almost two decades now, I still hesitated to write this. It is our hope that your child and family has a wonderful first early years experience wherever they go, and I am saddened that Waverly Montessori didn't meet our expectations, but wish the team all the best in their ongoing professional development.
Both of daughters have attended the Montessori since they were 18 months old. We've grown to love the school like family. The teachers in both the toddler and casa classroom care for the children as if they are their own, and the school has truly come to feel like an extension of our home. Our girls share and talk about the teachers and students constantly, and when we are away, they tell us how they can't wait to share their trip or experiences with the teachers. The classrooms are very clean and organized, and the teachers are very diligent with informing us when things need to be cleaned/replaced (clothes, winterwear, blankets etc..) We really believe the teachers care about the children a lot, and it feels like a very small, intimate place that focuses and knows each child as individuals.
my son has been attending this school for a year and a half, he absolutely loves it! loving and caring teachers is what is important to us.
