It doesn’t matter where you are on your singing journey, a coach is invaluable. I’ve never had a personal vocal coach and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Val. We explored my vocal range and I learned how to use (and not use) my face better, my tongue placement and my diaphragm for support... all things I know intuitively, but validation and reinforcement and mental preparation ahead of a phrase is super useful, so you don’t take those small breaths, that mental visualization for granted. Also, getting feedback on how I sound as I practiced songs was good for me. Thanks Val!

Valerie!!! I’ve had the privilege of training with her for a very brief period of time, but I think she is amazing!!! Very involved, practical, to the point, yet easy going and extremely friendly. She has a magic touch to improve your voice and singing like no other. I strongly recommend Val to every person, professional or novice.

I love Valerie’s work technique. She teaches you many tricks on how to maneuver your voice and grow confidence in singing. I’ll definitely be back more lessons!

Val is an excellent vocal teacher. I have learned a great deal in every lesson I have with her. She is 100% engaged for the entire lesson. In the 6 lessons I have had with her thus far, my vocals have improved a great deal, per my friends and music fans. I am a songwriter/musician/guitarist and when I play my songs having the best vocal performance I am capable of is important to me. I highly recommend Val as a vocal teacher, she is a total pro.

As someone who plays musical instruments and having sang in a band, I always assumed I just had a limited vocal range. I finally decided to source out a vocal teacher. Val has been hugely beneficial with helping me improve my vocal technique and confidence. It's been very rewarding to finally know which muscles to relax and what singing correctly sounds and feels like. I've been going to Val's lessons for a few months now. I'm continuously impressed with Val's ability to direct me on what I might be doing with my pallet, tongue or posture just by listening to my voice.
