Two purchases from Upcountry. A beautiful piece of art (pictured) and a full length floor standing double mirror. The purchase was flawless - David was knowledgeable about the art, what might in our situation (scale, lighting) and provided mounting tips for the large mirror (we have small children). Thank you! My wife will be happy! I would be remiss if i didn't mention Moses who, with an assistant, was super careful - laying rugs, removing wall pictures to ensure they didn't get knocked down (didn't see that one coming). Great experience all around. Recommended.

I bought some gorgeous pieces for my condo from UpCountry (modern sofa, contemporary coffee table, bar stools and two pieces of artwork). Everything was made in Canada, and Great design team. Would highly recommend for some unique pieces.

Upcountry has new management and you can see the difference in the quality of their products and service. David was wonderful to deal with offering great assistance and advice. I highly recommend dropping into their store

Popped by today looking to browse around. Fell in love with an accessory on display on a wall. We wanted to buy it right away. Unfortunately, we were informed it was their floor model and they didn't have it in stock. We asked to buy the floor model and realized it would dismantle their elaborate display (a collection of 3D metallic fish of various species) leaving a bracket on the wall smack in the middle of the display. We explained that our 10 year old son was a very avid fisherman and this was a gift for him - we had to have it. Fernando and David discussed for a while and agreed to let us have it. Fernando, we learned, is also a passionate fisherman so he clearly understood! Great service is when one overrules the rules to make someone happy. And we left very happy! Our son was beside himself when he saw his magnificent fish.

Went to UpCountry this weekend and wow! what a great selection of beautiful furniture, even the staff were fun and down to earth. I ended up buying a gorgeous Viscount sofa and 2 chairs and I have to say they look fabulous in my new home.

Nice looking furniture pieces, but customer service was awful!! You'd think for the amount of money they expect you to spend on some of their items, they would look into hiring people who have a clue about what they are selling. The rudest part was having a conversation with the salesperson about a table I was looking at, when the guy's friend walks into the store, at which point, they have a casual 2 minute conversation as I am standing there. Brutal!! I have to say, that I have been to the Burlington location too, and their customer service seems to be much better. I will never go back to the King St. location.

I walked in to Up-Country because I had a friend look at a bed with storage for me, and he said he saw a nice one for a good price. So I walk in and I see this bed. I ask someone information about it, and she knew nothing about the product, maybe because she was to busy twirling her scarf around in the air, ( I don't know ) but for that money I should buy new ( because in my opinion the bed already looks used ) Lacks quality, lacks total completion. Just not my cup of tea. Friend said he went to a different store, and boy what a difference in quality for about the same amount. Quality - Poor to Fair - Appeal is Ok to Good - Service Poor to Fair

Horrible customer service - worst we've ever experienced. We've been waiting more than 6 months for furniture to be delivered and the staff seem 100% indifferent to doing anything to rectify the situation. Despite going to the store to personally ask for an update, and multiple phone calls every couple of weeks seeking an update, Upcountry has done nothing to give us even an ETA as to when we might get what we've paid for. The staff really don't seem to care at all, and while they do have nice furniture, it's not worth the hassle.
