I broke my stair bottom post due to my lack of knowledge in how a staircase is constructed (trying to make more room for new fridge to fit in narrow hallway) I have a lot of projects on the go and this being added to the list was priority due to it being the first thing you see coming into the house. I searched for the closest skilled tradesman and I got in touch with Alvin. Told him my situation and sent him pictures and he told me it can be fixed and what I was looking to do to fix it or replace post etc. He was very detailed with multiple options we could take and gave his opinion on how to save the most money in what I desired. He was honest about his schedule and made a accommodated my schedule. He came at the expected time and notified me of his eta etc. We went through what he was going to do and quickly got to work. He set the post up and before securing everything he called to make sure I was satisfied with how he was going to finalize the job. Everything looked great. He was honest about the limitations of what I wanted and how it would end up looking. Few moments after post was set and good to go. He cleaned up all the saw dust and pieces he cut. Very clean. He was very friendly and personable. I would use him again for future jobs and also recommend him to friends and family.

I had been waiting a few weeks for two other railing companies to schedule an appointment when a friend told me about Ultra. Alvin came by the day after one other company came by, provided the quote three days faster, and provided a slightly cheaper price. Most importantly, they came in and quickly and professionally installed beautiful glass railings.
We needed a new main floor railing and basement railing installed. After meeting with a few different companies, Alvin stood out from them all with his experience and knowledge of staircases. He did a really great job installing both railings and also went above and beyond to help us with a few other structural staircase concerns we had. Throughout the process he was pleasant and very responsive to all of our questions. I would certainly recommend Alvin and his team.
