The bathroom in my master bedroom (one of the three bathrooms in my house) had some drainage/leakage issues. I stopped using the shower in that bathroom and was waiting for my handy brother to come back from his trip to fix it. Phil, the technician from The Mold Guy used that specific bathroom without even asking my permission. Since it was not mentioned in the protocol that the team would need to have access to the bathroom to get water, I had no clue that I needed to give them a heads-up about it. By the time I realized, the technician had already used that faucet and had let water run in the shower. Shortly after, I found out that water was coming down from pot-lights in the living room, and then after couple of hours the ceiling started coming down. I called the company the next day, Ross the senior manager came over to check out the mess. Instead of taking responsibility of the huge mistake they made, he blamed me that I should have fixed it earlier. This is while my own plumbing contractor had assured me that there would not be any problem if I keep the bathroom dry. Ross offered 200 as he’s a very “generous” person who was willing to “help”. I ended up with taking two days unpaid time off work and couple of thousand bucks and a huge construction mess. So, I’m asking again WHY was it not mentioned in the protocol that they would need to use my bathroom? WHY would they walk into my bathroom without asking permission? WHY would I have to pay so much out of my pocket while I could fix this issue with minimum damage? Please please please take a look at these photos and think again before you hire this unprofessional team to ruin your property.

I was fed up of the presence of mold in my home. But, thankfully I came across The Mold Guy. They removed the mold carefully and completely. They even suggested some tips to stay away from mold. Thankful!!

There was a mold concern on my property and I was looking for someone to help address my concern. I called around and this was the first company to take the time to walk me through the entire process from start to finish. The follow up call after the lab results was detailed and thorough. We called The Mold Guy on a Friday when part of our bedroom roof suddenly collapsed. They came first thing Saturday morning to pick up a sample to be tested for asbestos. They promised the lab results by the following Tuesday and we received them as promised. They also guided us on how to keep our home safe in the meantime. Very quick, efficient and great customer service in our experience.
