We are so lucky to have The Mindfulness Clinic in Toronto. They are an amazing and highly skilled team. I am so impressed by their dedication to clients and mindfulness practice. They make it easy to get the help you need.

During the current global pandemic, this business was completely insensitive and uncompromising in their flexibility to cancel existing appointments, even with a National Emergency Declared. Extremely disappointing. This clinic insisted on keeping the appointment and charging clients, even when the clinic's phone/video technology was inflexible. What a joke for a business devoted to mental health. Huge disappointment.

The intake process here is awful. I called to make an appointment and was told the women I chose was no longer accepting patients (though this was not mentioned on the website). After selecting someone else, I was called by the intake coordinator who was not welcoming at all and she asked me to tell her what my issue was which I was very uncomfortable with and unprepared for. She proceeded to tell me that the second person I chose did not operate after 4pm and since I work full time, I said that was not suitable. She was not forthcoming with solutions or alternatives and seemed bored for the duration of the conversation. Not very mindful!

I am a psychologist in Toronto, and have known Dr. Kelly for many years. Dr. Kelly was practicing and teaching meditation even before meditation was developed as a therapeutic intervention, and is a calm and skilled teacher. I have taken meditation training with him, and referred many clients to the Mindfulness Clinic. Clients who have attended Mindfulness Clinic programs have given consistently positive reports of their experiences. The Clinic website provides many free resources and the Clinic generously donates regular meditation sittings and retreats to support therapists who teach meditation. Dr. Kelly himself was recently a guest speaker at Dharma Friends, a community meditation group; he donated his speaker's honorarium to support an orphanage in Lesotho. I highly recommend the Mindfulness Clinic as a place to learn meditation and to develop greater well being.
