Our tour guide Ryan was very friendly and knowledgeable. He brought us around Kensington stopping in several shops and restaurants to give us a taste and a little history of the area. A lot of the foods on the tour were a first for me having travelled from Ireland where our food is significantly less diverse than the market area. I won't list the items and the areas we went to because the surprise is great and also it changes a lot. I will say I have a new set of cravings now.

Given the current state of the pandemic in Toronto, me and my girlfriends signed up for Audrey's Virtual Chocolate Tasting for a fun, easy Friday night activity. Audrey sent us about 6 different chocolates to taste, which all were neatly packaged and clearly marked. Via a virtual Zoom meeting, we all savored the taste of different chocolates while Audrey explained the maker of each chocolate, what subtle tastes to pick on, and the correct way to taste chocolate. Audrey is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about chocolate making, and we even got a complimentary chocolate truffle tart that she made herself: the Toffle, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this service to anyone who needs a fresh and new idea to host a virtual get together!
I was part of a chocolate tasting hosted by Audrey and she is very friendly and knowledgeable about the chocolate's backstory. The tasting mats are helpful in distinguishing the sample chocolates!! I'd recommend this service!
Audrey was an amazing host! I experienced the chocolate tasting. It was very well organized, and I learned a lot from Audrey about how to describe and distinguish the taste of different chocolates. It was a super fun experience and highly recommend it to everyone!
I signed up for this tour mostly because I knew the friend I was visiting loved chocolate. I was blown away with how fantastic the tour was! It was educational, fun, and an adventure. Each stop was fun and informative, as were the walks in between, and the sampling at each was delicious. My favourite part was the chocolate tasting. I was amazed at what I learned. It is obvious that our guide, Christie, has a deep passion and joy with the subject, and it is very infectious! She has so many wonderful stories and so much information to share. I know my friend and I had a wonderful time. Not only would I recommend this tour, I would take it again (and will, next time I'm in Toronto)!
