This clinic was pretty much my childhood. Had to undergo 4 eye surgeries as a preteen (2008-2012), and this was where all the appointments were made with my eye surgeon/ophthalmologist, post-op. I gotta say, it was a pretty chill and even peaceful place. Waiting area was spacious, not at all crowded, and is almost like an airport lounge, with comfortable seating. Good lighthearted memories I have of this place.

They have a wide range of tests that they offer and a good number of staff to run them. They have a couple of waiting rooms and chairs spread out by the various tests. There are generally a lot of people that have appointments, so it can be crowded. Don't forget to spot the art on some of the ceiling tiles.

The entire staff was wonderful. Patient and kind. I received exemplary care from the resident neurologist/ Opthalmologist ,who did my work up for Dr Gladstone. ( more later) to Dean in triage who was pleasant and helpful. The waiting rooms were clean and comfortable ( yes believe it or not this was in the ER)and the technicians in X-ray and Catscan, professional and very kind. The woman who took my blood was very gentle and I could barely feel the needle. Everyone was respectful. Dr Iaboni who delivered my CT scan results and my script was friendly and approachable. He graciously and intelligently answered my brother’s barrage of medical questions. They all caused me to feel that my care was important to them.. Dr Gladstone was the neurologist who oversaw my treatment at Sunnybrook. He is an extraordinary doctor. He was respectful and attentive when listening to me describe my symptoms, medical history and my presenting problem. He was kind, intelligent and reassuring ; and articulated in detail his plan for my recovery in a way that I could understand, even in the anxious state that I was in. He followed through on all of it. I felt that I mattered ...that he cared and was determined to find the correct diagnosis and best course of action for me. It was a top notch experience in light of a not so terrific medical crisis. It resembled a private clinic...not the extremely busy ER department that it actually was.
