We happened to be in the area a couple of weeks ago and went walking to find a restaurant for lunch. My husband suggested Spice, knowing that I love Indian food. Upon entering we were greeted warmly and asked to select a table. At 12:30 pm on a Saturday, we were the only guests in the restaurant. The decor was simple and modern (note: the washroom was sparkling clean too). Food: we asked our server (also the chef) to recommend dishes and we went with those. Lamb and Butter Chicken dishes, which came with rice and a tossed salad. Both dishes were very tasty, initially the portion size seemed small but it turns out that we couldn't finish everything. Normally my favourite would have been the Butter chicken, but it leaned a bit on the sweet side, versus the Lamb (not normally a fan) was perfectly spiced and the meat was super tender. IF you are in the area, check this place out. Great food at a decent price.

This place is a hidden gem... The food is amazing... Presentation is great.... Staff very friendly and helpful.... I strongly recommend their seafood curry, although everything is great.

An amazing blend of spice creates a flavour sensation! This may be the best Indian restaurant in the city - it certainly can make a case for it. Each dish is artfully presented and the flavours are outstanding. We tried a variety of dishes - a lentil pakora, lamb, prawn curry among others. Each had great spicing and was a unique experience. I would show you a picture however we ate them all too quickly!

Highly recommend visiting Spice Indian Bistro. A little out of the way but well worth it. Our food was extremely flavorful and we found some unique dishes. Put this restaurant on your bucket list.

Awesome service and food for the price. The taste of the butter chicken is really authentic and the bread is fresh. Having been raised on this food as I'm half Indian, I gotta say it's worth a visit.

Last week was the first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We had a good time with the good service, with the great food and wine and with the comfortable charge. We will surely come back again.

I went with my mother and her friend who was visiting from New York. We went on a weekday at lunchtime. The food was delicious and the plating was exquisite. The decor was also nice. One of the staff is a student at George Brown and watching him put the garnish on a dessert is our artistry. With food that looks that good, you're almost afraid the flavour will disappoint but if anything it tasted even better than it looked. We ordered off the dinner menu and the Rajastani appetizer and the ice cream dessert were some of the most wonderful and memorable food I've eaten anywhere.

I liked the place. It's a small restaurant with a limited menu but the food was really great. I ordered paneer and naan and the dish was very well cooked and everything was fresh. The service was great. The chef knows Indian taste and cooked a perfect dish. I am giving four stars only because of the quantity of the food is very less as per the price.
