I find that it was ok for my ayce dim sum experience. I feel that it's a family restaurant. It's not professionally dressed staffs. They were all pretty nice. The ambience is ok. Food was good. Some dishes were meh, some were pretty good. For 19 lunch, if you can eat, it's really worth it.

Great dim sum! I don't eat red meat. So glad to see this place have a lot of options for me. Everything I ordered was tasty: shrimp race rolls, fried chicken and corn dumplings, shrimp and chive pan fried dumplings. My husband also liked the siu mai, and black bean spire ribs! We are on vacation from Vancouver, this place is as good as our favorite back home. The price is very reasonable too! Would come back again, if we have a chance!

Food are pretty good. We ordered 9 dishes and 7 of them came pretty fast then we had to talk to the head waitress two times to mention that we still have two dishes which didn’t come. Finally the last two dishes came and they were delicious too.

Conveniently located in Chinatown, Rosewood is one of the few restaurants in town that offers AYCE dim sum for 27 per person. I wouldn’t recommend it if: 1) you’re with another person and 2) if you’re here for breakfast because there’s no way you can eat your money’s worth. There were two of us - For the 8 dishes we’ve ordered to share, it averaged around 6-7 each dish. For downtown Toronto, price wise, this is relatively some of the cheapest food you can get in the area. Apps and tapas at high-end restaurants usually average to 9-16 per dish. Once you put in your order, food arrives within 10-15 minutes, like lightning fast- not surprised because Chinese restaurants are always well-known for their speedy service. Everything was delicious but for a Chinese restaurant that’s also offering sushi on the side, it just seems a bit out of place. I would also like to mention the restaurant followed most of the standard COVID protocols and offered sanitizer/did contract tracing BUT did not limit seating capacity. People were sitting left right and behind our table and it’s definitely NOT six feet apart. Management should look into this.

OK dim sum - not my favourite in the area. My favourite dish was the sticky rice, I thought they did a bang on job with that. Friendly staff
