I have heard lots about Rodney's Oysters House, and have always wanted to check it out. My friend and I didn't make any reservation, but was lucky enough to get a seat on the patio during the summer. The server who worked with us was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the food and was eager to recommend items on the menu. We ordered Fundy scallops and Dungeness crab to share between us. I will not lie. The prices were up there, and I was worried that the quantity of food would be minimal. So, to my surprise when the food came, there were a nice amount of scallops to satisfy the both of us. The scallops were nicely seared. They were succulent and juicy and big. Even though there were a generous amount to share between us, we wanted more because they were that good!! The crab was outstanding. It was a good size at market price, and you can tell it was fresh from the texture of the meat. My friend and I were in seafood heaven. This is a nice place to visit if you want to indulge and spoil yourself. Highly recommended.

If you like (love or crave) oysters - then you gotta visit this place. First and foremost, their oysters and seafood are as fresh as can be (with live crab and lobster tanks). They are also following strict (and reasonable) Covid-19 policies, like recording your contact information for tracing purposes and using QR code to pull up menus on your smart phone. Service was also great - and overall, this place hit the spot
We ordered some unshucked oysters online for pickup, and the process was so smooth and easy. Showed up at our chosen time and were handed a cool wooden box with our oysters and the optional shucking knife. The 3 types of oysters we ordered were all delicious and very unique from one another in taste and smell. Super fresh, very tasty and easy process. Highly recommended for a fun night at home!
Such delicious food! There are so many different kinds of oysters to try all tasting delicious and ranging in size! Tons of open space on the patio during COVID, the patio has been extended to include more space! The lighting in the evening is great! Very nice atmosphere and music both outside and inside! If you get the lobster they can bring the lobster up to you, to see it before they cook it. Highly recommended!!
One of my favorite restaurants in Toronto! Used to come here before the pandemic and tonight was our first time back. The food was amazing as always and the staff kind, knowledgeable and just awesome (also as always). Rodney's also have a great system in place following social distancing to keep everyone safe which is much appreciated! Thank you!
