I will truly miss this place when it closes down. The food was wonderful. The Spanish fries remain in my memory for being the best I've ever had. Their brunches were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented.
Great food...it's on the pricey side though
Went here to celebrate my birthday a week ago. The food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and helpful! We had a larger group, their menu for larger parties was a great deal! We were able to try different dishes and share them among us. There was a lot of food we could barely finish it. So worth it for the price. Loved the ambiance and the location.
Delicious! Not a fan of family style eating but was able to order individual dishes, and they were amazing. The pear and buffalo mozzarella apps and butter chicken were great. Eclectic menu. Group we were with had the family style waiter's choice tasting menu, and enjoyed the selection. Love it, will go back
I really enjoyed my dining experience at Origin, had a great time. The decor was nice and the staff was friendly and very helpful the food was out of this world. We had the popcorn recommended by the waiter and that blew our minds, the other dishes were really, really tasty but the popcorn was a show stopper, We going back tonight with friends and my wife wants one popcorn to herself. I cannot explain wildly variance in the food and service we received and what I see written here but I just had to post a message to say that I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an adventure in food.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Toronto. The food is incredible. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is wonderful. Chef Ryan made the night for us! Go....you will not be disappointed.
Came here for dinner on a Monday night at 6pm (early dinner). Was sat in an awkward corner where it was difficult to move the chairs and therefore difficult to get in and out of our table. The server and staff were friendly. One of our 2 servers (male), when asked questions about the items on the menu, seemed like he didn't know how to describe the them effectively. Left us in a state of wondering if we made the right choices... We did. The food was great and very flavourful. The restaurant remained quiet (didn't expect it to be busy) but did raise the question of why we were put in the awkward corner when there were plenty of other great tables available.
