Went on a trip to Peru in 2015 with Operation Groundswell. The entire planning of the trip was smooth and the trip itself was incredible The guides they had us with were super friendly and really knew the areas we travelled to. The acitivies planned were a once in a lifetime experience. Would definitely recommend this to any young person wanting a different type of trip.

These programs are fantastic, such a good time, great people, you learn so much and get to see so much, and the people in your program can end up feeling like family. It also really seems like they are approaching the groups they work with in the other countries very responsibly and listening to the communities. I recommend!

Listen to Double Y Frijoles Episode 10 for a detailed experience from a first generation Canadian/ Guatemalan woman. This program failed big time. They continue to colonize, imperalize and protect violent particapents.
