School makes me depressed.

I called the Ministry of Education around 9-10am and was on the phone with a female representative. I had called to respectfully confirm if a specific private school's course was approved by the ministry. What I got was a rude, overbearing and impertinent person questioning why I had not confirmed this earlier in the year. As an employee of the Ministry of Education she is representing an entire department with every phone call she takes. I had already checked with the school directly before enrolling in the course and they said they were approved but I just got a little worried so I called in today to confirm with the Ministry of Education. The representative proceeded by saying “This is something you should have done before enrolling in the course.” I’m bringing this to attention because there may be others who have just moved to Canada or who just want more information regardless of whether it is “too late” or “too early” should not be a concern for her. I understand it would be if the course I took was not approved and then the UNIVERSITY telling me what she said but not the Ministry of Education when I am RESPECTFULLY asking for them to SIMPLY confirm if it is. It is not okay to be judgmental - one should feel comfortable to ask questions whenever they have concerns and/or want peace of mind. I am very disappointed - this was a very poor experience. I hope the customer service changes for the better.

I would like to make a suggestion: In every school every child should make a statement daily loud and clear. I myself and nobody else . My country is Canada and I am on the right path. Right now I am 7 years young.

ACTIVE KIDZ Childcare centre: Firstly, I am extremely abhorred at this \centres\ unprofessionalism. The reviews stating 4/5 star do not expose the unfortunate truth of this Centre. I highly recommend ALL parents to stay away from this centre, and to NOT leave their child unattended in this facilities care. On April 26th at 10am my daughter which whom has poor eyesight and has gotten surgery, was trying to go down a slide in the playground. Because of the teachers ignorance and lack of attention on the children in the playground, my daughter fell flat down on her face instead, from a far distance. Because of the teachers lack of responsibility, and decision to chit chat with each other rather than being attentive and aware of the children in the playground, my daughters whole face was bleeding when I went to pick her up that day. Not only that, instead of the teachers taking the initiative to report my daughters incident to me immediately, I did not find out until I went to pick up my daughter at 6pm. In which my daughter told me herself that the teachers told her to tell me, that she didn’t fall from the slide, that she walked and fell. If this is not unprofessionalism then I do not know what is! From being inattentive, to not taking responsibility to call me and notify me about my daughters incident and to teaching my daughter to lie! That is extremely disappointing. Furthermore, when I took the action to report this extremely disapointing event, the board of education did not take this matter seriously. To all parents reading this please take action, and make your childrens safety a priority.
