Went in there on a whim after getting a haircut and I have to say the beef liver wrap was so fresh and juicy I could’ve had 4 more! They also threw in some rice pudding on the house which tasted like mom used to make! If you’re looking for authentic middle eastern/Egyptian food I highly recommend you check this place

We stopped by for a quick take-out dinner and were impressed by the friendly service, the huge portions, and the yummy food. Good value! The inside of the restaurant is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with scenes from Egypt. We are looking forward to returning when we can eat indoors.
Had a delicious meal at Nile River restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty and included a complimentary rice pudding. I highly recommend!
We ordered food here last week and it was just absolutely exceptional. They portions are more than adequate and quality top notch. Also the variety is extensive that all palates will be very satisfied. On top of that my experience was so good I recommended this place to my workplace and we will be ordering in 2 weeks.
Ordered the vegetarian special for 2 to 3 people and everything was amazing. The falafels were not greasy at all. Loved all the dips. I will be ordering from here again. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and will be good to eat there once indoor dining is allowed
Great food, especially the liver and falafel! Very flavourful. Would definitely order again. Food tastes fresh. Only downside was that my order was missing a couple of items but those got refunded via the app but otherwise everything was great!!
I stumbled across Nile river as I was walking so figured I would give them a try and support small business and a new one for that matter. I must say, I was not disappointed at all! The Kefta and lamb skewers was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Also ordered the samosas, they tasted super fresh and homemade. The staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend and welcome to the neighborhood
UPDATE: I have ordered a second time from Nile River and the Molokhia was perfect this time. Perfect texture and good taste. I still recommend adding significantly more seasoning to the food, especially grilled meats, but this is arguably a matter of personal preference. The level of seasoning here is closer to Egyptian home food than Egyptian street food. Review score has now been changed to 5 stars. OLD REVIEW: What's good: - Grilled meats were cooked perfectly - Packaging was great and food stayed warm despite long delivery What needs improvement: - Food was rather bland across the board. Molokhia is supposed to have a garlic-rich flavour but it simply tasted like under-seasoned stock. Grilled meats could have used even a modest amount of seasoning as well. - Molokhia's texture was okay, but I felt the need to stop eating and remove little green stems 4 or 5 times during the meal. These are not supposed to be there.
