Such a hidden gem for some delicious and cheap japanese food that tasted local enough! Also love the chill vibe there in a busy city! Their curry with natto was also very delicious and worth a try!

Manpuku is an absolute GEM of a restaurant, featuring quality tasty and filling Japanese comfort food that has become a staple of our household. I cannot more strongly recommend getting food here, and their menu is always full of great options at great prices! Truly amazing.
The food was exceptional for the price. Received an udon for only 4.75 with extremely well-made udon noodles and a savory broth, fish cakes and tofu. Although I would not recommend the onigiri as they are just simple store bought onigiri you could find in any Asian supermarket. The service was good with only one server maintaining every table. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic udon and Japanese rice dishes on a budget or just looking for some damn delicious udon.
I had pork currydon and my boyfriend had beef uni don for takeout, they were both really delicious !!
Amazing food and great customer service! I loved coming here as a student and since I left, I've never found a better place for cheap, delicious takoyaki. This place is truly a hidden gem and I'll always try to stop by here whenever I'm in Toronto!
