My experience prepping for the GMAT didn't go as well as I expected it would. I felt as if the instructor assigned to me did not care about me passing the test, and was instead interested in selling me more hours or more packages. My GMAT test date was set and was coming up, and I needed preparation desperately, so I ultimately ended up taking the GMAT prep course at tutorstem.ca , which did a far better job at preparing me for the test than Manhattan Prep. I told the sales rep that I switched to Tutor STEM and no longer needed their services, but they refused to issue me a refund the unused classes. Writing a negative review is the last thing I want to do, but I feel cheated.

Avi is a fantastic instructor. He's patient and a solid, logical communicator. He explains concepts in a way that's easy for everyone to understand. His willingness to be flexible gives you a mental workout every week as he'll adjust the day to discuss topics that are concerning for his students as opposed to being stuck to a lesson plan. On top of all this, his quirky personality makes him fun to learn from.
Avi is a fantastic teacher. Always available after class or between classes for help. He is very quick on email, which is helpful when you're in the middle of working on a question. When he discovered a few prep questions were missing answers, he quickly made a video of himself answering the questions and emailed it to me. A!
Avi is a great teacher! I thoroughly enjoyed going to class every week. He helped me structure my study schedule around work and other priorities. I also felt more at ease going into the exam knowing I had prepared with a top-notch instructor who'd written then exam and trained hundreds of other in the past. I recommend his course to anyone who's serious about doing well on the GMAT!
Avi is a great teacher. He has a very distinct teaching method where he instills the fundamentals rather than the actual problem at hand so that you can use the framework and apply to any question you wish. I was so lucky that I tool his class.
