Madras Masala is one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto to order out dosas and other south indian foods. Would highly recommend the place to anyone looking to satisfy their hunger!

One of my favourite place to order in Toronto. I have tried Idli, dosa and paneer chilly. Trust me, sambhar is just WOW!

Ordered via Ubereats at noon. And honestly I'm always a bit worried about getting a fake ubereats order or something, not sure how else I can explain a 4 star for this place. A little background perhaps - I'm south indian and I grew up eating home cooked south indian food. The Chat i ordered was good, not great but good. The Dosa I ordered was a bit cold by the time I got it, but I'm not really blaming the restaurant for that, it was a long drive to my house. If anyone knows dosa, dosa is kinda like beer - it has to be at a certain temperature (cold beer, hot dosa), if it reaches room temp it's awful. The chicken 65 was not what I was expecting, but tasty nevertheless. The chutney that came with it was starting to sour a bit, which was concerning. Now, to the main event: the goat chettinad. The meat was well cooked (which a lot of restaurants miss), but there just wasn't enough complexity and spiciness to the dish. Now it may well be that the restaurant has catered their dishes toward a more generic pallete, since i'm south indian i need the spicy to be extra. It is better than a few places i've tried but it's nowhere near 'good' or 'amazing', a very typical indian takeout. Assuming this wasn't a fake uber order, my suggestion is to perhaps offer spice levels?

One of our favorites for South Indian food in Toronto. Great Dosa's with tasty chutneys and sambhar!
