I had to make a return. The young lady(kim) at Lee Valley 590 King st made the process simple and pain free. Very helpful. Great place to do business with.

Awesome selection of woodworking/gardening tools and accessories. For me, browsing this place was as good as attending a movie. Looks like they have woodworking seminars too which I will definitely be checking out.

Very helpful staff, willing to ask other employees on things they didn't have direct experience with. I asked about one item I wasn't 100% sure if should buy and got honest feedback that they had several returns because the item wasn't up to snuff so didnt end up purchasing. Was even given advice about other stores to try about another item they didn't carry. Only downside for me is parking is a pain around, but if on TTC it would be no problem to get to by streetcar.

LV sent a package to my friend in error (she wasn't charged). I helped her to return it to be honest citizens at our own cost. Trip into the city, traffic, gas, wasted afternoon. We were told to bring it out back and call at arrival. We did this on arrival. As I was putting the box on the platform as instructed. A horrible, sour woman yelled at me incomprehensibly with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. I knew better than to engage and another staff member arrived a minute later to help us. He was very nice, I told him about the horrible woman but I imagine he won't pass on the experience to the manager as he is stuck working with her. Everyone we dealt with was friendly. Except that miserable, mean spirited woman. She should not be in customer service as she is a face of the company. Particularly in these trouble times, companies should welcome their customers. Won't be returning.
