Excellent restaurant. Really enjoyed the food. The plantain was really good and everything was cooked exceptionally. We particularly enjoyed the green plantain burger, the mango coleslaw, the malt drink and the fried chicken. Also the fish was tremendous and the serving sizes was really nice. We enjoyed the ambiance, our waitress was very friendly, and the food came within a reasonable time period. Would visit again. Great Pricing: Spent 55.00 for two The other couple we went with spent 65 for two

The food is delicious and made fresh to order. La poul creole is my absolute favourite - crispy and juicy at the same time! The owner Patterson is friendly and really makes you feel at home. The wait staff always have a smile and strike up conversation. The ambiance of this place is romantic and relaxing. Well done La Creole!

This is a fantastic place for a nice dinner out! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff are friendly, the service is perfect. The food...! I had one of the best vegetarian meals of my life here during Summerlicious, and my partner had a delicious rib dish. I'm so glad to have found this place and will be back for sure.

1. We were seated at the table beside the window, I felt constant cold drafts coming through. We were Refused when asking for a table change because the other tables were "reserved".(they remained unoccupied for the duration of our stay) 2. The food was mediocre at best: small portions, cheap ingredients, no effort in display/placement (fries were an exception) 3. The waitress was friendly, only if you agreed with her on the food. When she asked us how our food was, we smiled a bit and said it was okay...(we were already being generous) She then glared at us, and said "You liked it very much." (That scared me o.o) I also had a feeling that she didn't want us to switch tables just because it would've meant more work for her.

First of all, I rarely give out anything less than 3 stars but I think this place deserves it. Maybe we were there for the Groupon deal, hence the bad food? The skirt steak was tough and chewy. The pork belly was overcooked and dry. The rice and beans were too dry. All the sauce tasted the same and were way too salty. The coconut cake was again too dry and lack the most important flavour - coconut! The deep fried donut was too doughy... All the dishes were overcooked and came with some over seasoned sauces. I think Groupon is meant for the restaurant owner to feature their food and get the customers to come back. They are doing the exact opposite over here. Never again!

Place was okay. Tables and serviettez were a bit filthy. A few had stains on them.Food was average. Place was a bit too dim, at another table, a lady had to bring her phone out to read the menu. We had the groupon dinner so we were limited to only a few items on the menu. We tried the seafood soup, did not have any seafood in it, it was like a tomato soup that was spicy. We ordered the grilled flank steak and the creole shrimp. Steak was good, quite tender for a flank steak and the sauce was good. Shrimps were way too small, was expecting larger sized shrimps. Dessert was a pineapple cake and deep fried timbit dessert. Both were above average. Our waitress was nice but we felt like we were being rushed. Dessert arrived before our entree dish was taken away, just when I finished. Our bill came before I finished my dessert without me asking for the bill. Mightve had a better experience when they have live bands or live shows but based on my visit, it was just an average restaurant.
