Great bagels. Poppy seed bagel is my favourite. The lady, the only staff there btw, is so personable. Tip a dollar or two when visiting this place.

Worth the trip to get these bagels hot and fresh!
I’ve had great bagels from Kiva’s in the past (catered), so went to the Yonge St. location expecting the same experience. No such luck. With only one staffer working the Saturday noon shift there was an overly long wait as they were busy toasting bagels to make sandwiches. But the reason I won’t be back is that when we got home and immediately had a few of the bagels, they were not fresh. Which is pretty much the only thing you have to get right... and the stale bagels explain all that sandwich toasting.
Favourite tuna salad sandwich.
My go - to bagel place! Nowhere else can I find this kind of texture and taste. They don't even need to be toasted, they're perfect as is. Love how the outside is firm and a little salty, around a mild, perfectly chewy yet airy centre. 'Extra seeds' bagel is my favourite.
