I was starving one day and decided to visit this cozy izakaya spot in downtown Toronto. The restaurant had plenty of seating and a patio, even with social distancing. Our food came quickly. The best appetizers were the sushi rolls (sooo creamy) /braised pork belly (delicious marinade and the side of bok choy made the dish lighter and gave it texture). There was too much garlic in the spicy beef udon, and the seafood champon way too spicy... to the point that we couldn't taste the difference in seafoods. 4 stars though because of the prompt service, reasonable prices, and in general, it was a good meal.

Never have had a bad experience. Food was ready in less than ten minutes! It was discounted for phoning in the order, always nice to have a reasonable price. The staff is always sooo kind too, and the sushi is EXCELLENT. Really fresh and unique, definitely a good choice. We will order again soon!

Great quality sushi in the downtown area. Limited vegan options for sushi rolls. Could use a larger variety. The avocado and cucumber roll is my favourite. The croquettes (although not vegan) are also delicious. Highly recommend! Will be back soon for more high quality sushi!
Great food great atmosphere and great service. We live nearby and Kintaro is our go to Japanese. Dined in a couple times before which was great but their takeout now is amazing too. Fried chicken is still crunchy when you get it home. Nice selection of things on menu that's not just sushi
