It might be Canada but that doesn't mean you can't find international cuisine everywhere you turn!. I'd like to thank the nice owner of King palace because the food is always tasty and high quality it's best when shared with the family because definitely scrumptious not maybe like your mother would make but if you're ever looking for some nice South Asian food that is made with quality! This is a great location for a bite to eat they even have Jimmy's coffee and the owner always does his best to provide a good meal. So it's right here with convenient parking in the downtown core and not far from Yonge Subway station. Whether you're just in town for a day passing through or you're looking for a break from the ordinary for lunch make sure you get yourself a bite to eat! (AND we're not far from Church Street which is the gay district) So whether you find yourself a king or a queen...make sure that you feel like whatever you want and stroll on over to King palace so you can feel majestic and have a feast like royalty LOL.

This restaurant criminally gives 5 tiny pieces of chicken, and the rest is sauce when you order butter chicken for 10 bucks. The same goes for all the entrees you order there. When your bill comes to 36 dollars and you open the portions when you get home, you barely are full at the end of the meal. Went here a few times, each time forgetting how I was taken. Rip-off. Best go to another location.
last night was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We had great time with the good service, with the great meal and fine drinks and with the friendly charge. We will definitely come back again.
Nope, nope, nope...just a big, NO. Day old rice, oily sauces, questionable chicken, dry chana and dhal, and my precooked cold food was warmed in the microwave in a Styrofoam container right in front of my very eyes. Any professional knows you can't warm food safely in a Styrofoam container; maybe a course in safe food handling might be necessary. Bad customer service, also. Place is clean but food is not good. Save your money and appetite for something worth it.
This place has been a neighborhood staple for a while. Reading past reviews there was a change in ownership. The food is okay. The spices could use some work. I was confused. The food is sitting on hot plates but the server microwaved every meal. Does that mean the food is sitting at room temperature behind the serving glass? The price point is a bit high for what you're getting. I hope this places turns around.
