Nice pie place. Great for a breakfast or snack. Their lunch combo comes with a small baked puff piece and a salad. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and the food was good. They also have a loyalty card for coffee and baked pies.

The place is all right. I enjoyed it. I just got the Butter Chicken pie and it was good. My friend got the combo where it comes with a pie, sausage roll, and a side. The price came to 10.50 tax. He was surprised it didn't come with a drink. I felt it was a bit pricey.
They seem to be permanently or temporarily closed as of today (November 12/2020) based on there were no lights and the empty cooler etc. What a waste of time!

Amazing pies! Fresh, flaky, buttery, made-from-scratch pastries. All the perfect, flavourful filling options are just a great bonus.
I like the pies here but this place doesn't live up to all the hype. The pies are tasty and the flavour by itself deserves 4 stars, but the price and the size are a major disappointment and the reason of my 2-star-review. The lunch combo doesn't come even close to being enough food for an adult male. You need at least 2 pies and that will cost you close to 20 bucks, which is way too expensive, even for downtown standards. It's worth trying once or twice but I feel there are better bang for your buck places around.
I have a lot of meetings in the buildings surrounding Commerce Court, and I was PUMPED to see that Kanga had opened up a spot down in the PATH. My new go-to spot to fill up on my favourite pies in the city! Love the Butter Chix. Can't get enough of the flaky pastry! Keep up the great work.
So delicious! Everyone at the office goes crazy for Kanga.
