I came to John looking for a suit that would stand the test of time in terms of style and durability. John paid attention to my specific needs, my personal style (elaborated with his input), some practical needs (being comfortable commuting by bicycle and sitting in courts and tribunals) and fine grain details to distinguish a suit made for me. He helped propose fabrics and identified specific adjustments to help me look my best. The result: I have a suit that fits perfectly, beautifully. Quality work. A suit I can't wait to wear. FIVE STAR suits provided with FIVE STAR service! I came to John looking for a premium bespoke suit for my wedding and he delivered. His care and attention to detail was unlike no other. My suit looked absolutely stunning and I received tones of compliments on my wedding day. The custom dress shirts and tie were also perfection. I will never buy off-the-rack dress shirts again. John tailored 4 shirts and a beautiful navy blue suit for me (see photo). When I arrived at his shop for my appointments, he was very attentive and guided me expertly through fabric selection and style. The reason I went to him is for the benefit of his knowledge and experience. I also needed my suit in a rush because I was going out of town, so John expedited its completion then met with me at his shop outside of his normal working hours so that I would have it in time. I had been to other tailors in the past (with mixed results) but now wouldn't even consider going to anyone else. Both John and his assistant Brett are professional and easy to work with, and they know how to make you look good! I get lots of compliments whenever I wear the clothes John and his staff made for me.

I came to see John on the hunt to find a properly fitting and well crafted suit for my wedding. I had visited and considered a wide variety of options in the downtown core including other known bespoke shops, Harry Rosen, etc. and nothing compared to the expertise that John displayed on our first meeting. John did not push for an immediate purchase like some of the other bespoke shops, but instead took the time to educate me on the process of crafting a custom suit, the materials and care involved as well as what to watch out for in poorly crafted, poorly fitting suits and materials. As a young professional building my career, my budget was important and John respected that providing me with a few options to maintain that and still come away with a suit that will look amazing for years to come. John is truly a master of his craft, having spent an entire career in this field learning and perfecting the art. My profession involves an attention to detail that has life or death consequences and the first thing I noticed when speaking with John was his attention to the finest of details which results in his work being above all else in the field. The experience of seeing John craft a suit specifically for you and wearing the suit itself is truly an event that every man should experience, no matter the occasion. A meeting with John is highly recommended.
