Might return. A Thai experience if you're in the area, with solid staples like Pad Thai and Red Curry that just need a little more finesse. Poor Thai Milk tea, you would be better off with a Boba store nearby. Good selection of alcohol. Good portions with solid sweet, salty and sour, but missing the smokey wok burn that Asian cuisine mandates. You might have a better experience trying the schnitzel, so might return for that as it's a novel mix.

I love this restaurant and I would definitely look to come back! At least for the time of this review, do not let the lack of outdoor patio heaters (there is only 1 running where there are space for 2) and less than stellar facade get the better of your judgment. This East Meets Far East fusion place serves good food at a good value. To let it stand out from the multitude of places which serve Thai or other Southeast Asian food, Hungary Thai also has quite the selection of Eastern European fare. In the menu, you would find items such as Paprikash, Holsteiner, Cordon Bleu, and Schnitzel which is what I ordered for myself. The Southeast Asian dishes our group got to sample such as Red Curry Shrimp, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Chicken Lemongrass came out really well and as good as it can be. The presentation was beautiful and more importantly was that they did not skimp out on the ingredients. There were generous portions of shrimp and other spices on the food which is always a well appreciated detail. Lastly, our host and server Marianne Kecskeméti was such a sweet old Hungarian woman. There is that unexplainable feeling of warmth and motherly comfort that I personally felt when she attended to our group. I am looking forward to the day I would find an excuse to come back here having recommended this to a different group of people to dine with.

Very cosy restaurant, small menu. The food consists of Thai and Hungarian options. Tasty pad Thai, goulash, schnitzel. Very friendly staff, a lovely patio. I was fortunate to be there when they had live entertainment the guy had an amazing voice he played a guitar. You felt like you were in some small village tucked away in Europe.

The food here (Thai with a Hungarian twist) is SO delicious. We had the chicken Pad Thai and the Cashew chicken and loved it!!! This place is small and cosey but has a unique character about it as well as great service.

If you’re looking for Thai food, turn around, unless you’re white. Well at least bring your OHIP. Dirty dishes cutlery reminds me of home(you know... CHINA). Ordered Thai BBQ both didn’t come with shrimp and gave us frozen (icy too) shrimp later. Appreciated the service but hate the chef. Sorry boo
