Ever since I had the buckwheat galette from Paris' Breizh Cafe, I can't stop thinking about it. They're so thin, lacy, crispy and delicate - it's so addictive! Hibiscus' sweet buckwheat crepes (Chocolate Hazelnut Banana) is soggy and has a rubbery kind of feel to them. It also has a gritty flavour/texture - I know buckwheat flour are suppose to have gritty taste but the overpowering gritty taste just ruins it for me. Normally the combination of chocolate hazelnut and banana is a perfect match made in heaven but this time Hibiscus sweet buckwheat crepes is an epic fail!

So great to discover this SECOND location (first being 238 Augusta Ave in Kensington market). As always; super healthy, super delish--had my go to vegan buckwheat crepe (with tomatoes, vegan mozzarella, mushrooms, basil, and spinach). This is a fabulous place to drop by for a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

My daughter and I went to Hibiscus restaurant in Kensington market are and loved it. The food was presented beautifully and it was so delicious, I think I was making moans out loud. We had the vegan vegetable crepe with vegan mozzarella cheese and we also had a vegan dessert crepe with chocolate, kiwi, banana. The were both wonderfully tasteful and looked fabulous. I highly recommend people go there and order vegan and you will be pleasantly surprised how good it is. They also have vegetarian.

Their crepes are really good and the presentation is lovely. Super instagramable and makes the fact that it took a bit to make worth the wait. The only downside to this place was that they didn’t have hot beverages. However, there were other spots in the food court to grab some.

We went here today and the staff was very kind and a helping hand. They were always curious if we needed anything and were offering samples. If you like some nice vegan ice-cream, cookies, drinks, or crepes this is the perfect place for you! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, 5 STARS (I love the hibiscus tea)

Tasty and healthful vegan food and treats in a stylish food hall In this stylish food hall, it's hard to choose. We ate the wonderful food at Hibiscus. It's all vegan and organic, but, more importantly, it is so tasty! The salads with beans, grains and veggies are the best. And the buckwheat crepes, either savoury or sweet, seem decadent but are also healthful. We loved the food here! And, save room for the surprisingly good vegan ice cream!

Oh man....best vegan ice cream ever!!! Loved both the mocha (mung bean based) and the chocolate almond (almond milk based). Friendly service and delicious food.
