Experience of a lifetime! Our skipper Nicolas took us on a beautiful sailboat ride out the western gap of Toronto Harbour onto the lake for the most beautiful sunset cruise. My son had never seen Toronto from the water. The ride finished with a tour of the harbour at night. We will never forget this awesome adventure. An extraordinary opportunity to see Toronto from the water.

My wife and I finished the Basic Keel Boat Cruising course and I cannot recommend this enough. Howie is an amazing instructor, very patient, takes the time to go through things in detail and makes sure you know what you're doing. We learned a lot more than we thought we would from a 4 day course. Looking forward to coming back next year and doing the intermediate course!

Signed up for the beginner skipper course and had a fantastic time! Howie (the instructor) is fun, and thorough. He is bursting with knowledge and is a very good teacher. He explains things with extreme patience until you get it. For someone who had 0 knowledge of sailing, I had a LOT to learn. He spent extra time helping me control my fear as well as wrapping my brain around wind direction vs tiller direction. I got exactly what I signed up to get (basic knowledge of sailing), while also having so much fun! I'm so excited to get out on the water and reinforce my lessons. I was also impressed at the cleanliness of the boats and their approach to the covid challenge. The course is definitely up to the participant, there is pre-work that you should do BEFORE you show up on day 1. It makes a huge difference to your success as you can practice the theory/techniques, rather than learning it on the fly. Personally, I'm not confident enough to be the skipper just yet, but I will get there given time and practice.

I took a 3 hours introductory course on Wednesday 8th July 2020. It was supposed to be a very hot and nice weather. It was indeed hot, zero cloud when we start sailing. 2 hours later, while we were enjoying sailing, we got hit by a storm coming from nowhere. I felt more excitement than fear because getting trapped in a storm only happened once in a lifetime for beginners. Even experiences sailors do not have always the chance to feel a strong storm. I fulfill a dream to be in this storm and experienced it to the max. You are in the middle of nowhere, heavy waves, heavy rains, heavy winds and more. Maybe you will feel it is scary, but if you like sailing, this needs to be experienced once in a life time. Forgot to mention that our skipper manage well to sail and bring all of us safe to port. We worked as a team. I highly recommend experiencing anything with Gone Sailing Adventure.

We had a fantastic time on the Friday night excursion. We were a little nervous in advance because of the weather forecast for the day, and we were told they sail rain or shine. There was a bit of rain while we were out, but it was just fine, there was a cover on the open part of the ship, and when it got a bit stronger we headed downstairs. The crew knew what they were doing and were super hospitable. The wine and cheese element was a great addition to the experience.
